RAW MATERIAL TRANSFER

Raw Material Transfer Systems automate the movement of ceramic raw materials from truck unloading to designated storage boxes. Intelligent routing, movable conveyors and capacity monitoring provide controlled distribution with up to 80% storage utilization, while integrated inventory tracking keeps incoming, outgoing and remaining material quantities visible throughout the process.

OUR APPROACH

At a Glance

Automated truck-to-storage raw material transfer with intelligent routing, up to 80% storage utilization and real-time material inventory visibility.

WHY?

Up to 80% Storage Utilization

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Multi-point discharge and controlled conveyor positioning distribute raw materials more effectively across each storage box, enabling up to 80% utilization of available storage capacity in the documented project application.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

WHY?

Know Exactly What You Have

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

The system keeps raw material quantities visible in kilograms or tonnes, tracking material entering, leaving and remaining in the storage system for clearer inventory control and production planning.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

WHY?

Right Material. Right Box.

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Automated routing directs each incoming raw material to its assigned storage box, helping prevent material mix-ups and operator-dependent unloading errors.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

WHY?

Faster Truck Turnaround

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Automated unloading and continuous conveyor transfer move incoming materials away from the receiving point faster, reducing truck waiting and keeping inbound logistics moving. In one completed project, transfer performance reached 1 ton/minute.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

WHY?

Built for Continuous Material Flow

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

For high-capacity ceramic plants, automated transfer creates a controlled flow between truck unloading and raw material storage, reducing interruptions before the preparation process begins.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Automated Truck-to-Storage Transfer

Incoming raw materials are discharged into the receiving bunker and transferred automatically through the conveyor line to the selected storage box.

Encoder-Controlled Movable Conveyor

The final conveyor can position itself across multiple discharge points, allowing a single transfer line to serve different raw material storage boxes.

Multi-Point Box Filling

Programmed discharge positioning distributes material across the storage area instead of concentrating it at a single point, supporting higher usable box capacity and more effective storage utilization.

Intelligent Capacity Monitoring

Integrated sensors monitor transfer status and available storage capacity. When the selected box reaches its usable limit, the system can stop the transfer to prevent overfilling.

Live Material Inventory Tracking

The control system records material movements and displays incoming, outgoing and remaining quantities in kg or tonnes, giving operators an immediate overview of raw material availability. Related UNIMAK automation projects also support recorded transfer data and SQL-based reporting.

Central PLC & HMI Control

Material destination, conveyor operation, system status and alarms are managed through a centralized automation interface, simplifying operation while reducing manual intervention.
