CRACK TEST MACHINE

The Crack Test Machine is a vacuum leak testing station for quality control of WC sanitary ware, designed to detect microcracks and leakage paths in multiple toilet configurations. Pneumatic sealing units close the product for a controlled negative-pressure test, while pressure-time evaluation and clear pass/fail indication support consistent inspection across changing product formats.

OUR APPROACH

At a Glance

A sanitary ware crack test machine using controlled vacuum testing to detect leakage defects across multiple WC and one-piece toilet configurations.

Why?

Catch Hidden Leakage Risks

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Vacuum-based testing reveals microcracks and leakage paths that may not be visible during conventional visual inspection, helping protect finished sanitary ware quality.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

One Test Station, Multiple WC Formats

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Test wall-hung, back-to-wall, P-trap, S-trap and one-piece WC designs within the same quality-control concept, supporting a broader product mix.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Make Quality Decisions Clear

Make Quality Decisions Clear

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Defined vacuum and time criteria provide a structured pass/fail decision, reducing dependence on subjective judgement during leak inspection.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why Choose This Solution?

Stop Defects Before They Become Costly

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Detecting leakage-related defects during quality control helps prevent non-conforming products from progressing further toward delivery or installation.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

Keep Manual Testing Practical

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Straightforward product positioning, guided test initiation and automatic piston retraction give operators a clear and manageable testing sequence.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Vacuum-Based Microcrack Detection

The sealed sanitary ware piece is subjected to negative pressure, allowing the system to identify pressure loss associated with cracks, holes or incomplete sealing.

Configurable Pneumatic Product Sealing

Pneumatic cylinders and dedicated closing units seal the main product openings, while the fixture arrangement can be adapted to different WC geometries.

Pressure-Time Acceptance Logic

The test cycle evaluates whether the required vacuum level is reached within the defined time and maintained through the holding period before issuing the result.

Integrated HMI & Visual Test Status

An operator control panel manages test initiation, while status lamps provide clear ready, pass and fail indications throughout the inspection sequence.

Multi-Format WC Test Envelope

The machine accommodates sanitary ware products including wall-hung, back-to-wall, P-trap, S-trap and one-piece WCs, with a documented maximum product height of 750 mm.

Integrated Pneumatic Control Architecture

Pressure regulation, pressure indication, vacuum generation and pneumatic actuator control are combined within the machine architecture, with automatic piston return at the end of the cycle.
