INSPECTION CELL WITH ROBOTIC HANDLING & DRY FILTER

Inspection Cell with Robotic Handling & Dry Filter is a sanitary ware finishing solution combining operator-led inspection and retouching with automated dust removal and robotic product handling. Its enclosed stainless-steel booth, servo-controlled turntable, multi-point extraction, dry filtration and PLC-based integration create a controlled bridge between manual finishing and downstream glazing automation.

OUR APPROACH

At a Glance

A robotic sanitary ware inspection cell combining manual retouching, automated dust removal, product handling and dry filtration for a cleaner, more controlled finishing flow.

Why?

Keep Dust Inside the Process

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Enclosed extraction and dry filtration help contain finishing dust where it is generated, creating a more controlled working area for operators.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

Move the Piece, Not the Operator

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Robotic handling in integrated configurations reduces repetitive manual product transfers between inspection, cleaning and downstream production stages.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

A Cleaner Handover to Glazing

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Automated air blowing and vacuum-assisted cleaning remove residual finishing dust before the sanitary ware piece continues to the next process.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

Human Judgment Where It Matters

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Operators retain control of inspection and retouching while repetitive blowing and product positioning tasks can be automated around them.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

Automation That Fits the Existing Line

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Configurable robotic tooling and PLC communication allow the cell to be engineered around existing glazing equipment rather than forcing a complete line redesign.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Dual-Mode Inspection Booth Architecture

Pneumatically operated operator-side and robot-side doors sequence access according to the active operation, separating manual retouching from robotic blowing while supporting safe process flow.

Servo-Controlled Turntable

The turntable can be moved manually during operator retouching and servo-controlled during robotic operation, enabling coordinated product rotation throughout the automated blow-off sequence.

6-Axis Robotic Blow-Off & Handling

A six-axis industrial robot performs programmed air cleaning around the sanitary ware piece. In integrated configurations, purpose-designed tooling can combine blowing and product transfer without an additional tool change.

Multi-Level Dust Extraction & Vacuum Assistance

Extraction points at the rear and sides of the booth, lower collection hoods and an additional operator-facing suction zone capture airborne and falling dust, supported by an integrated vacuum cleaning system.

High-Capacity Dry Filtration

In the referenced configuration, a 10,000 m³/h dry-filter unit serves two inspection booths, with jet-pulse filter cleaning and an expected clean-air emission value below 0.005 mg/m³.

PLC-Integrated Cell & Safety Control

PLC/HMI control coordinates the booth, turntable and auxiliary equipment, while industrial network communication enables integration with existing line controls. Safety light curtains, door interlocks, emergency stops and guarded robot zones protect access to moving equipment.
