ZERO WEIGHT HANDLING SOLUTIONS
Zero Weight Handling Solutions are overhead-assisted manipulator systems for ergonomic transfer of sanitary ware between casting, trolley, dry-finishing, trap-glazing and conveyor stages. Electronic load balancing, responsive operator control and product-specific gripping tools make heavy or delicate pieces easier to lift, rotate and position, while each rail-mounted layout is engineered around the plant’s actual working area and process flow.
OUR APPROACH

Electronic Load Sensing & Auto-Balancing
The electronic balancing system detects and compensates for the suspended load in real time, enabling low-effort vertical handling and controlled positioning. Documented UNIMAK applications range from 50 kg to 320 kg manipulator capacity depending on product and tooling requirements.
Sensitive-Handle Motion Control
Touch-sensitive operator controls translate hand movement into fast, smooth and precise lifting response, with electronically controlled vertical movement for intuitive pick-and-place operation.
Gentler Handling for Greenware
Lightweight aluminium rail systems, bridge trolleys and integrated power supply components provide smooth horizontal movement across application-specific working areas while keeping the production floor unobstructed.
Engineering Creativity
End-of-arm tooling is engineered around the sanitary ware product: solutions include dedicated stainless-steel carrying plates and pneumatic side-clamping jaws with regulated gripping pressure and product-specific contact geometry.
Resilient Problem-Solving
Rotation can be incorporated into the handling concept for process requirements such as turning 1-piece and 2-piece WCs, or allowing a rail-mounted manipulator to serve workstations positioned on opposite sides.
Individual Autonomy
Depending on configuration, the system incorporates upper-position control, operator stop functions, safety-hook arrangements and monitored lifting components designed to maintain controlled handling throughout the transfer cycle.
