CASTING SHOP CONDITIONING SYSTEM (ECS)

Casting Shop Conditioning System (ECS) is a tailor-made environmental control solution for sanitary ware casting halls, covering traditional, spagless, high-pressure and manual casting environments. By coordinating recirculated and fresh air, heating, humidification and extraction under PLC-based temperature and humidity control, it creates a more stable shop climate for casting, mould drying and green-piece conditioning throughout production.

OUR APPROACH

At a Glance

A sanitary ware casting shop conditioning system that manages temperature, humidity and airflow around the real process needs of multiple casting technologies.

Why?

Take Weather Out of the Equation

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Maintain the casting hall closer to defined temperature and humidity conditions, reducing process variation caused by changing ambient conditions.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

One Environment for Different Casting Realities

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Support traditional, spagless, high-pressure and manual casting environments with climate control adapted to the production method and plant requirements.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

Give Green Pieces the Conditions They Need

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Controlled shop conditions support the sensitive period after demoulding while contributing to green-piece conditioning and the moisture recovery of casting moulds.

With two separate silos, two different plaster types can be used efficiently, providing greater flexibility for various production requirements.

Why?

Fresh Air Without Giving Up Control

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Why?

PLC-Controlled Humidification & Moisture Extraction

Two Silos, Two Plaster Options

Programmable temperature and humidity profiles allow environmental conditions to change with daily and weekly production requirements instead of remaining at one fixed setting.

Recirculating Air Handling Architecture

The air handling system combines filtered return air, controlled fresh air and conditioned supply air, distributing it through project-specific ducting and adjustable diffusers across the casting hall.

Multi-Point Temperature & Humidity Feedback

Temperature and relative humidity transmitters continuously provide field data to the control system. Multiple room measurements can be evaluated together, with outside-air conditions monitored separately for more informed PID regulation.

0–100% Fresh-Air / Recirculation Modulation

Servo-controlled dampers continuously regulate the ratio between outside air and recirculated shop air, enabling the system to respond to changing humidity conditions and operating requirements.

Indirect Heating with Separated Combustion Air

Process air is heated through a heat exchanger rather than direct combustion. Burner exhaust is discharged separately, preventing combustion air from mixing with the conditioned air supplied to the casting shop.

PLC-Controlled Humidification & Moisture Extraction

High-pressure water nozzles add moisture according to actual and target conditions, while controlled extraction fans remove humid air and assist with evacuation of airborne dust when required.

Programmable Curves, Live Tracking & Alarm History

Operators can create temperature and humidity programs, compare set and actual curves graphically, define weekly schedules and review recorded operating data and alarms from the control interface.
