ECM SER WC HIGH PRESSURE CASTING CELL

The ECM SER WC High Pressure Casting Cell is an integrated sanitary ware machinery solution for complex stick-on-rim WC production. Dedicated Rim, Engine and Shell modules combine controlled high-pressure casting and variable mould positioning with robotic demoulding, sticking and transfer, creating a compact automated process focused on product flexibility, casting consistency and reduced manual handling.

ECM SER WC HIGH PRESSURE CASTING CELL

At a Glance

An automated high-pressure casting cell for complex stick-on-rim WCs, integrating Rim, Engine and Shell casting with robotic assembly and process control.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Complex WCs, One Coordinated Process

Rim, engine and shell production come together in one automated casting cell, turning a multi-stage stick-on-rim WC process into a controlled production flow.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

More Freedom Across Your WC Range

Complex WCs, One Coordinated Process

Flexible mould configurations support demanding WC geometries and different product concepts, giving manufacturers more room to adapt their portfolio without building the process around one fixed model.

Rim, engine and shell production come together in one automated casting cell, turning a multi-stage stick-on-rim WC process into a controlled production flow.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Fewer Touchpoints Between Critical Steps

Complex WCs, One Coordinated Process

Automated demoulding, handling, rotation and sticking reduce manual intervention where greenware is most vulnerable, supporting more repeatable assembly from one casting stage to the next.

Rim, engine and shell production come together in one automated casting cell, turning a multi-stage stick-on-rim WC process into a controlled production flow.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Protect Quality at the Casting Stage

Complex WCs, One Coordinated Process

Controlled mould positioning, slip conditions and casting pressure help establish uniform forming conditions and reduce the risk of defects such as filling marks and cracks before they move downstream.

Rim, engine and shell production come together in one automated casting cell, turning a multi-stage stick-on-rim WC process into a controlled production flow.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Make the Cell Work Harder for Your Factory

Complex WCs, One Coordinated Process

A compact, highly automated layout brings casting, assembly, transfer and supporting processes together to use production space and operator time more effectively.

Rim, engine and shell production come together in one automated casting cell, turning a multi-stage stick-on-rim WC process into a controlled production flow.

PLC-Controlled Rim–Engine–Shell Architecture

Dedicated Rim, Engine and Shell modules operate within an integrated high-pressure casting cell, with controlled movements and process sequences engineered for complex stick-on-rim WC production.

Variable-Angle Mould Positioning

Engine and Shell moulds can tilt up to 20° backwards, while the Rim module provides positioning from 0° to 90°, supporting optimized filling, wall formation, draining, demoulding and mould washing stages.

Proportional High-Pressure Slip Control

The casting system operates at up to 12 bar, with proportional pressure regulation and pressure and temperature measurement close to the moulds for controlled filling, thickening and hardening conditions.

Multi-Stage Hydraulic & Pneumatic Clamping

Hydraulic mould movements are combined with mechanical locking and controlled pneumatic airbag clamping where required, allowing clamping pressure to follow the demands of different stages of the casting cycle.

Robotic Demoulding, Sticking & Transfer

A dedicated robotic handling system manages greenware movement, rotation and sticking operations, using product-specific setters to coordinate Rim, Engine and Shell assembly inside the cell.

Conditioned Slip & Integrated Process Circuit

A heated and continuously mixed slip system works with temperature monitoring, controlled circulation, return-slip management, vacuum functions and mould-cleaning circuits to support stable casting conditions and mould care.
