ECM ROTATING WT HIGH PRESSURE CASTING MACHINE / CELL

The ECM Rotating WT High Pressure Casting Cell is a modular sanitary ware casting solution for water tanks produced with two-part resin moulds. Combining six-cavity mould capability, programmable 0–90° positioning and proportional high-pressure process control with robotic horizontal demoulding, it is engineered for manufacturers seeking flexible model management, automated handling and scalable production within a compact cell architecture.

ECM ROTATING WT HIGH PRESSURE CASTING MACHINE / CELL

At a Glance

A modular high-pressure water tank casting cell combining six-cavity production, rotating mould control and robotic demoulding for flexible sanitary ware manufacturing.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

More Output from Every Mould

A six-cavity water tank mould turns each casting cycle into multiple finished green pieces, making productive use of a compact single-mould module.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Cast at the Angle the Product Needs

More Output from Every Mould

Controlled mould positioning through the casting process gives manufacturers greater freedom to optimise filling and draining conditions around the geometry of each water tank.

A six-cavity water tank mould turns each casting cycle into multiple finished green pieces, making productive use of a compact single-mould module.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Change Models Without Rebuilding the Line

More Output from Every Mould

The single-mould concept supports faster mould replacement and makes the cell well suited to production environments where tank models and collections change over time.

A six-cavity water tank mould turns each casting cycle into multiple finished green pieces, making productive use of a compact single-mould module.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Scale Capacity Module by Module

More Output from Every Mould

Individual casting machines can be combined into a robotic island, allowing production capacity to grow through a modular architecture rather than one long multi-mould machine.

A six-cavity water tank mould turns each casting cycle into multiple finished green pieces, making productive use of a compact single-mould module.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Less Manual Handling Between Casting and Finishing

More Output from Every Mould

Automatic robotic demoulding and integrated buffer handling move freshly cast tanks through the cell with reduced operator intervention and a more structured production flow.

A six-cavity water tank mould turns each casting cycle into multiple finished green pieces, making productive use of a compact single-mould module.

0–90° Rotating Mould Architecture

The mould can be positioned between horizontal and vertical orientations during process stages, enabling casting and draining sequences to be configured according to product requirements.

Six-Cavity Single-Mould Configuration

Each machine accommodates one two-part resin mould with up to six water tank cavities, combining single-mould flexibility with multiple pieces per casting cycle.

600 kN Hydraulic Mould Clamping

A hydraulic clamping system provides the closing force required for controlled high-pressure casting, with automatic mould closing integrated into the machine sequence.

Proportional Slip & Air Pressure Control

Casting is fully automated with proportional control of slip and air pressure up to 10 bar, supporting controlled filling, casting, draining and hardening stages.

Recipe-Based PLC Process Management

Casting parameters—including pressure values, filling, casting, draining and hardening times—are managed through the PLC/HMI, with reusable recipes and configurable process-step sequences.

Robotised Horizontal Demoulding & Buffer Handling

After casting, the machine presents the product horizontally for automatic robot demoulding. The robot transfers pieces to dedicated demoulding plates and vertical buffer stations for the following production stages.
