ECM ROTATING WB HIGH PRESSURE CASTING MACHINE / CELL

The ECM Rotating WB High Pressure Casting Machine / Cell is a single-mould automated sanitary ware casting solution for washbasins, consoles, shower trays and complex FFC products. Its rotating mould architecture enables casting and draining at angles up to ±180°, while proportional process control, robotic demoulding and modular cell integration support flexible production, consistent quality and efficient automation.

ECM ROTATING WB HIGH PRESSURE CASTING MACHINE / CELL

At a Glance

A flexible single-mould high-pressure casting cell for washbasin production, combining ±180° rotating casting, proportional process control and robotic demoulding.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

More Models, Less Lost Time

Single-mould production and easy mould access make model changes faster, while the remaining machines in the cell can continue casting during changeover or maintenance.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Scale Capacity in Modules

More Models, Less Lost Time

The modular cell concept combines independent casting machines with multi-cavity mould capability, allowing manufacturers to build capacity around their actual product mix and production strategy.

Single-mould production and easy mould access make model changes faster, while the remaining machines in the cell can continue casting during changeover or maintenance.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Better Quality for Complex Basins

More Models, Less Lost Time

Casting and draining at different angles gives greater control over slip behaviour inside the mould, supporting complex washbasin geometries and high-value VC and FFC products.

Single-mould production and easy mould access make model changes faster, while the remaining machines in the cell can continue casting during changeover or maintenance.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Repeatable Casting, Shift After Shift

More Models, Less Lost Time

Proportional pressure control and recipe-based automation keep critical casting parameters controlled and repeatable, reducing dependence on operator judgement between cycles.

Single-mould production and easy mould access make model changes faster, while the remaining machines in the cell can continue casting during changeover or maintenance.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Leaner Handling Around the Cell

More Models, Less Lost Time

Robotic demoulding, automated product transfer and in-cell buffering reduce manual handling of greenware, while a four-machine cell can be operated by one operator per shift.

Single-mould production and easy mould access make model changes faster, while the remaining machines in the cell can continue casting during changeover or maintenance.

±180° Rotating Casting Axis

The mould can be positioned through a ±180° range during casting and draining, enabling process-specific orientation before horizontal robotic demoulding.

Single-Mould, Multi-Cavity Architecture

Each machine operates with one two-part resin mould and can accommodate multi-cavity configurations where product geometry permits, combining individual process control with higher output per cycle.

Automatic Mould Opening & 600 kN Clamping

Automatic gearbox-driven mould opening and closing is combined with a clamping system rated at 600 kN. Accessible mould mounting architecture supports quicker installation, release and model changeover.

Proportional High-Pressure Casting Control

The fully automatic casting sequence uses proportional slip and air pressure control, with a maximum casting pressure of 12 bar for controlled filling, casting, draining and hardening stages.

PLC/HMI Recipe & Process Management

Casting recipes define process sequences, valve states, pressures and timing parameters for filling, casting, draining and hardening. Operators can monitor process values, save recipes and review historical production data through the control system.

Robotic Demoulding & In-Cell Buffering

An industrial handling robot automatically removes green pieces in the horizontal demoulding position and transfers them to buffer or exit stations, creating an integrated flow between casting and downstream operations.
