ADM WC CASTING MACHINE

The ADM WC Casting Machine is a modular plaster-mould sanitary ware casting line for floor-standing, back-to-wall and wall-hung WCs, as well as bidets. It combines model-dependent cast-on-foot or cast-on-rim operation with automatic casting and on-rim demoulding, independent mould installation and controlled post-cast handling for production with less manual intervention.

ADM WC CASTING MACHINE

At a Glance

A modular plaster-mould WC casting machine with model-specific casting positions, automatic on-rim demoulding and independent multi-part mould handling.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

One Line for More WC Geometries

Produce back-to-wall, floor-standing and wall-hung WCs—including box rim, rimless and open-rim designs—plus bidets, with casting arrangements selected around the model.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Different Models, Different Casting Logic

One Line for More WC Geometries

Four modular sections allow different casting procedures to be organised within the same production line instead of forcing every model into one common process sequence.

Produce back-to-wall, floor-standing and wall-hung WCs—including box rim, rimless and open-rim designs—plus bidets, with casting arrangements selected around the model.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

Less Touching While the Piece Is Green

One Line for More WC Geometries

Automatic mould opening, demoulding and piece transfer reduce operator contact with fragile greenware; the completed ADM development project achieved a three-person labour saving per shift.

Produce back-to-wall, floor-standing and wall-hung WCs—including box rim, rimless and open-rim designs—plus bidets, with casting arrangements selected around the model.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

A Better Route for Concealed Bowls

One Line for More WC Geometries

Model-specific mould positioning and automated turning were developed for concealed WC geometries, where wide surfaces are particularly sensitive to filling marks, deformation and cracking.

Produce back-to-wall, floor-standing and wall-hung WCs—including box rim, rimless and open-rim designs—plus bidets, with casting arrangements selected around the model.

WHY THIS SOLUTION?

More Casts from Each Plaster Mould

One Line for More WC Geometries

Controlled mould clamping, turning and demoulding reduce handling-related mechanical stress; development testing recorded a 15–17% increase in mould life.

Produce back-to-wall, floor-standing and wall-hung WCs—including box rim, rimless and open-rim designs—plus bidets, with casting arrangements selected around the model.

Four-Section Modular Casting Control

The casting line is divided into four separately managed sections, enabling model-dependent casting cycles and procedures to be assigned across the machine rather than controlling the entire bench as one process block.

Individual Mould Cartridge Architecture

Each plaster mould is mounted and secured independently through dedicated cartridge hardware. The architecture supports 3-, 4- and 5-part mould configurations, with modular top-part lifting and dedicated fifth-part movement arrangements where required.

Bench Tilting & Automatic 180° Mould Turning

The casting bench can change angle during filling and draining, while the optional mould-turning manipulator rotates individual moulds by 180° for cast-on-rim production and repositions them for the subsequent process steps.

Drive-Profiled Automatic Demoulding Manipulator

The manipulator automatically locates each station, grips and rotates the mould, opens the required mould sections, transfers the piece and returns the closed mould to the bench. Drive-controlled speed, acceleration and deceleration profiles provide smoother movement during handling.

Section-Controlled Slip & Spagless Air Circuit

PLC-controlled slip distribution manages filling, level maintenance and return-slip discharge through automatic valves. For spagless mould operation, dewatering air is controlled by module with programmable timing and dedicated pressure regulation.

Programmable Drying & Multi-Deck Piece Buffer

Bidirectional mobile fans operate with programmable blowing direction and duration. The system can also integrate a closed-circuit curtain mould dryer and multi-deck storage conveyors to extend controlled handling of moulds and freshly demoulded pieces.
